Day 2. Havana- Playas del Este (Eastern beaches)

After a delicious breakfast, you´ll check out and commence your travel down Paseo Avenue and soak in the soporific Cuban air. Locals will wave to you as you cycle by. You’ll get to see the famous Plaza de la Revolución, University of Havana, and more. Look way up – the Plaza de la Catedral is bound to make your jaw drop with its graceful architecture and beauty! As you look around you, you’ll see the difference between old and new Havana, and your eyes will be dazzled by the colours and beauty of the old cars, bright clothing, and smiling faces of Cuba!

After a refreshing snack, you’ll depart to the Playas del Este, an approximate tour of about 40 kilometers. These are the eastern beaches of Cuba – full of wildlife and natural beauty, what you’ll notice most are the wide sandy beaches and the crystal-blue tropical ocean. There are

beautiful homes dotted along your route, and you will experience the timeworn and slightly abandoned air as you ride along the winding Cuban roads. Along your way, you’ll see a number of different beaches, all with their own charms. Keep an eye out for all kinds of wild tropical birds and animals as you ride. Playas del Este is famous for deep-sea fishing, yacht charters, and scuba diving. You’ll stop at some point for a snack to refuel, then you’ll check in and experience a delicious buffet lunch at the Marazul Hotel. Soak your toes in the beautifully warm Cuban ocean and experience the feel of soft sand on your feet! You’ll have a whole afternoon to relax and sunbathe – those cycling aches and pains will melt away! If water sports are more your thing, you can rent aquatic equipment and enjoy the waves! After dinner at the hotel, you’ll rest up for your next day.

After a boxed lunch on the road of fruit, a sandwich, and some juice, you’ll ride on to your all-inclusive hotel and check in for the night.

Amazing

What an amazing tour. Every single part of this tour was just fantastic. our guide was the best. He was funny, intelligent, attentive, knowledgable and worked his socks off to make sure we all had a great time. We had a small group of 13, mostly singles, and we ended up making great friends and dining / dancing together most nights.
